How we interact with the local community is very important to the whole team at Nicholsons.

Charity Ball

The Nicholsons Charity Ball has now become one of the most important dates in the Nicholsons diary. With over £5,500 donated to charity 2007's ball was the largest yet with over 200 people attending.

Young Enterprise

Over the last few years Nicholsons team members have played an active role with Young Enterprise working with students at over six different schools and colleges in the Lincoln and Market Rasen areas. The Young Enterprise programme is designed to teach young people entrepreneurial skills through a series of programmes that range from single day events and courses to year long programmes where a team run a YE company designing and creating products, producing and selling them and maintaining company records. Graham Harrison, manager responsible for arranging our involvement in Young Enterprise, said "Young Enterprise is an excellent way of sponsoring enterprise and commerce to young people. Being able to understand the challenges of running a business and the exhilaration of success will I am sure provide the young people involved in the programme with an excellent start if they wish to start their own business. Perhaps we will help the next Richard Branson start out in business!"
