Emma is home grown talent who joined Nicholsons in 1999, following three years studying Accountancy at University, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2002. During her career Emma has worked closely with Nicholsons’ charity clients of all sizes and has found this work extremely rewarding and has developed a specialism in this area -spurred on by this, after being asked to join a local charity as an honorary treasurer, she jumped at the chance to be able to share her experience and enthusiasm in this area.
As well as looking after a portfolio of general practice clients, Emma is one of the partners leading the audit and compliance team, having a strong involvement in the direction of audit services as well as monitoring the procedures within the firm. As a result she is able to assist clients to develop and maintain their own systems.
Emma enjoys cycling, hill walking, holidays, and any combination of the aforementioned 3 with her husband and young daughter, and she is looking forward to getting a few more sponsored bike rides under her belt after she started off gently with a relaxed cycle from Boston to Lincoln – a mere 40 miles!
