Richard has been a Partner at Nicholsons since 1987 and has taken great pleasure in seeing the firm develop from a traditional accountancy practice into a forward-thinking firm of personal and business advisers.
In addition to being a Chartered Accountant, Richard also has a Diploma in Business Coaching.
Richard has a large and varied portfolio of clients, and also heads up Nicholsons Consulting, our specialist Business Development arm. This is a fast-growing part of our business, and enables Richard and his team to pass on their expertise and experiences to help business owners become more successful.
One of Richard's proudest moments came when the firm won the 2004 Lincolnshire and Rutland Business Award for IIP. This proved that "we put our teachings into practice - a firm can benefit hugely by investing in and empowering its people. It was great to have our efforts recognised by our peers".
Out of the office, Richard likes to play any sport, particularly golf, socialise, and spend as much time as possible with his wife Helen and their two sons ("before they grow up and leave us!")
